The Santiago airport is an efficient, well laid-out facility with everything you need. It features many good restaurants, a wide array of
services
and plenty of stores selling both
local
and
international
products. There is even a large duty-free shop located between passport control and luggage retrieval, so you can purchase
tax-exempt goods after getting off your flight.
But in typical Chilean fashion, not all is efficiency and commerce. The airport is full of whimsical touches, such as this pop-art sculpture of suitcases reaching for the sky.
